Junior Curling

Junior Tots program (age 6-10)

This Junior program, running Nov 3rd to March 23rd (19 weeks, 2 weeks off at Christmas), is for introducing our youth to the sport of Curling. They Curl from 1 to 2pm each Sunday. The curlers will be shown techniques, skills, strategies, and etiquette while on the ice. Curlers will learn how to slide, how to throw a rock, how to sweep, game play, and strategies each week by going through fun & interesting exercises and modules. Our idea is to engage students in skill development, and to provide a venue for organized games and introduce competitive play.

Junior Tweens Program (age 11-18)

This Junior program running Nov 3rd to March 23rd (19 weeks, 2 weeks off at Christmas), is for curlers with the interest to learn the game, develop their skills and be challenged to compete at their highest level. They Curl from 1 to 3pm each Sunday. In this program we provide extensive support and inspiration to continue developing the necessary skills needed to become a skilled curler. We encourage junior curlers to build the skills to participate in regular match play, bonspiels, league curling and competitive curling.
