Leagues

The Kincardine Curling Club is proud to offer a large variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re young, old or somewhere in-between, we are sure to have a league suitable for you.

Our league play is organized in 3 seven-week sessions within our annual season (November to April). Any registered member can join any draw in one or more of the sessions and can join different draws in different sessions. Members have responded favourably to this format as it can allow them to coordinate curling with extended winter holiday travel.

Learn more by selecting one of the leagues that interest you from the list below.

This is a recreational and social draw at 7pm. Curlers sign up as singles and are put on teams of 4 for the 7-week session. Curlers can request to curl on a team with spouse or friend. Registration numbers may result in playing once at 9pm.

This is a social recreational jitney format held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 2:30pm (new time). You can register for either or both days. Curlers are put in a team of 3 each week based on who shows up and can select their position for that game. Getting a spare is not required. Staying after to socialise is encouraged but not mandatory.

This is a 7pm draw for experienced and competitive oriented curlers. Typically, curlers enter as a team of 4 with an identified skip. If you want to join and don’t have an established team, we encourage you sign up as an individual and the convener will put you on a team. Registration numbers may result in playing once or twice at 9pm.

This is a social recreational jitney for both men and women.  Curlers are put in a team of 4 each week based on who shows up. You do not need to get a spare if you can’t make it.  Everyone welcome.

This is a fun and competitive draw at 7pm where curlers enter in teams of two and throw 5 rocks per end working around pre-placed stones. If you want to join and don’t have a partner, we encourage you sign up and select “don’t have a partner” under the partner identification tab and the convener will put you on a team.

Join a fun and flexible curling league designed for busy individuals! Registration is for full teams, with no cap on the number of team members (though only 4 people play per game). This setup accommodates those with varying schedules, so you never have to miss out. You don’t need to be a club member to participate—this is a great way to start curling and give it a try! Please note: Team captains should have curling experience or, at the very least, complete the Learn to Curl program.
