Kincardine Curling Club Capital Fund
Project #128 is a KCC partnership with the Sport Trust Fund of Ontario. It is an opportunity for individuals or businesses to support infrastructure upgrades at the Kincardine Curling Club and receive a tax receipt for their support. Donations made through this fund, may only be used for the project described, so you can be assured that your donation will be used exactly as intended.
Our current agreement with the fund extends through 2023.
With thanks to our many donors, phase #1 of our capital projects has been accomplished! The new roof was installed in November, 2020.
The Board of Directors is currently investigating and moving forward with several long-term infrastructure needs for the club. Accomplishing these many needs will be a multi-year plan which will see installation natural gas equipment and heaters, installation of air conditioning for the lounge, replacement of the ice plant/compressor and modernizing the lounge, kitchen and changerooms.
The projected cost for these much-needed improvements will be in excess of $400,000. However, these and other smaller-scale upgrades will move our club into the 21st century and will ensure the facility exists for youth, adults and seniors well into the future; providing all citizens of the Kincardine area with a place to learn and grow the great sport of curling.
